To Miss Nikeeta Tamra with love!

Pooja is a Class VIII student at St. Xaviers School, Behror, Rajasthan.

Miss Nikeeta Tamra was with us in Behror for about three years. As we were getting to know her she decided to leave us. Though she is not present here physically as she is away in Jaipur teaching in our own school at Newda. I would like to dedicate this rambling to that beautiful person Miss Nikeeta. In the school, my favorite teacher was Miss Nikeeta. She taught us English Literature.

She was my favorite teacher for a number of reasons. She would open every lesson in a disciplined manner by quickly silencing the class and getting on with the work: it was not just the fact Miss Nikeeta was different from the other teachers. She would encourage to read whatever one wanted to read. She would even do this with the most shy students, who normally had problems reading aloud. Through her hard work, she managed to bring them out of their problems. She understood the problems of many students, especially in relation to public speaking. She was able to get the best out of us. She understood where our true limits were. She was my favorite teacher because the way she could teach students with the views to getting the highest grades without even realizing. It worked and her class got the highest grades in the school.

Apart from this she had a very good personality. She was always well dressed and behaved in a very good manner. She left good impressions on those whoever she met. She always used to ask of our VI ell - being, wherever we met in the school premises. All together she was a very good teacher and I am lucky enough to have her as a teacher in my life.

Mam, I miss you!

"To mam, with love!"
